Liver Lovin' Smoothie

This smoothie is super hydrating and packed with ingredients for radiant skin. Pineapple is rich in Vitamin C protecting you from free radical damage and increasing collagen production. It also contains the enzyme bromelain which helps break down protein for better digestion and nutrient uptake. The avocado is rich in potassium, fiber and vitamin E helping to keep blood sugar levels stable. The coconut water is rich in potassium and electrolytes making it a wonderful hydrator. The addition of milk thistle seed powder to this smoothie rounds it out into a liver supporting powerhouse.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 handful fresh spinach
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 small cucumber chopped
  • 1/2 tsp milk thistle seed powder
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 - 1 cup coconut water

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to your blender and blend well. Enjoy!

Notes

You can add 1 tsp. maca powder for stabilizing hormones and adaptogenic properties.
